Kristin and Franck’s wedding was one of my favorite destination weddings that I was able to photograph last year. They held their wedding at the breathtaking historic Branford House Mansion in Groton, CT. It is located right on the shoreline and made for an epic venue. It was an exclusive, small gathering that quickly became one of the most wonderful experiences I’ve been a part of.
The couple flew Loreah and myself out which was so exciting because neither of us had been to Connecticut before! It was so fun to explore the area. It rained all morning the day of the wedding and we thought it was never going to stop. Luckily the weather let up and we were able to take advantage of the elegant surroundings and capture some truly jaw-dropping photos.
Kristen made the most beautiful bride. These are probably some of my favorite bridal portraits to date!
Kristen and Franck live in Sedona, and met at a resort in the area. The couple planned it all back home in Arizona, and the details were so spot on that it honestly surprised me how well it all came together!
Kristen told Loreah, “I don’t know if this is normal of not, but I get jealous when you post about other brides, and I just want to be your favorite.” LOL! These photos are definitely social media worthy and make for great inspiration for brides to-be!
We have a lot of destination weddings booked this year too, so you’ll be seeing a lot more soon!
If you could have your wedding anywhere in the world, where would it be?
XOXO,
