I recently had the pleasure of shooting the intimate wedding of Jazmin Hernandez and Ryan Smith. This wedding was an emotional one for me for many reasons. I was honored when Jazmin reached out to me back in 2017. She was newly engaged and so excited to start planning everything. She did an amazing job, clearly. She made my job so easy and for that I am so thankful. The wedding held many of their closest friends and family together for one night. Everyone had a blast. Her colors were eucalyptus tones and modern whites. Everything came together so beautifully.

      

The reason this wedding struck a cord with me is because I actually grew up with both Jazmin and Ryan. We all attended the same school “back in the day”. If you would have told me then that Jazmin Hernandez and Ryan Smith get hitched, I wouldn’t believe you but after seeing them together on their big day I would truly say I couldn’t imagine them with anyone else. Jazmin and I have been good friends for a long while so when she approached me about shooting her wedding I was ecstatic – beyond thrilled. So glad I was able to be a huge part of this big day!

Jazmin and Ryan got married at the Grand Highland Hotel located in the heart of downtown Prescott, Arizona. The sun was bright and the temperature was perfect for a wedding day. Her florals were beyond beautiful and so on -point with her wedding day vision. You can see more with Poppy Floral Design Co. Make up was done so beautifully by ______. Rentals were from the confetti studio, ______, and _______. All so well put together by Jazmin and help.

Jazmin described to me that he is the ying to her yang and I couldn’t have described them more perfectly. Ryan is truly the calm to her storm. When I watched Ryan’s eyes water as Jazmin made her appearance I knew that he was the one. His expressions said it all in that very moment. Every little girls dream. Jazmin of course made a beautiful elegant bride and Ryan looked beyond handsome, of course a match made in heaven. I couldn’t have dreamt of a more beautiful wedding for a dear friend of mine. So glad I got to witness the holy matrimony of these two lovers.

    

 

I did also want to add that WAY back in 2013 when I had first inspired to be a photographer I actually had the pleasure of taking the Hernandez family photos and boy will I say its amazing to say I have come so so so far. Below you can see a before and after photo of their family for comparison. They’re all so beautiful, am I right?

 

       

Jazmin & Ryan – I know you two are destined for great things and I truly cannot wait to see all of the things you two accomplish as a couple. I know the moms agree with me but when are we going to see some beautiful children???????????????
