Dom and Chelsea moved to Scottsdale, Arizona on in March of 2018. They met at TEKsystems in Michigan which is where they are from. TEKsystems is where they worked together and short after started dating.

Dom knew Chelsea was the gal for him. He had no doubt in his mind.

       

I remember meeting Dom shortly after he moved to phoenix and after I let him know I was a photographer he told me “Well you’ll have to shoot my proposal on November 1st” mind you this was back in X. I said okay and that was that for a while. Until Dom brought it up again now it was closer to November and I knew he was serious. I could tell how excited he was just by how giddy he got talking about it.

About a week before I took Chelsea out to lunch where I asked her “when do you think you two will get engaged” and she replied “Maybe in a year or two”. She had no idea that Dom had been scheming for some time now.

The day Dom planned was November 1st which was relatively close to their anniversary. Dom let Chelsea know he would be in Seattle on the week of. So when chelsea saw Dominic at the hole in the wall she was very confused. Until she put two and two together. That all of the people there were standing around waiting for HER! Her reaction was priceless. Mainly because she looked at her girlfriends when she got there and said “We must have missed something” not knowing this was all for her.

Dom awaited her with the permission of her father and help of myself with 14 amazing strangers holding printed signs stating “Will you marry me?”.

 

 

 

 

How could she say no this this face ..

He took her hand and walked her down the stairs placed her in the floral heart outline filled with tea light candles and handed her a flower. Now that wasn’t just any flower – it was the same flower he got her when he asked her to be his girlfriend and also for their one year anniversary.  SO CUTE!  She picked up the flower and immediately said yes before  Dom even said anything.

I asked Dom later what his words to her were and he said “Im not sure, I blacked out”. This is typical when prosing. If you have proposed in the past and remember what you said please commend below – we would love to hear it!

After she said yes for the second time the crowd cheered and the newly engaged couple shared an intimate kiss.

 

 

 

After the photoshoot with me to follow, Dom and Chelsea drove up to Sedona for an intimate gateway together.

This proposal was beautifully planned and executed.

Dom – you did great buddy.  I cannot wait for the wedding!
